WHITEBOARD – 16 October 2012

Workload:

“Tail Pipe”
This workout can be performed with a partner or along. If you do it alone, time your rows and hold the kettlebells for as long as the 250m takes you.  If you are doing it with a partner just alternate the movements with them.

3 Rounds of:
P1 – Row 250m
P2 – Hold two 24/16kg kettlebells in the ‘rack’ position

Notes: This is a somewhat famous workout from Gym Jones. It is meant to teach proper breathing mechanics. Think, if you have poor shoulder and thoracic mobility, how do you think this workout is going to go for you? Remember; posture, posture, posture!

  • John Donne – Meditation 17

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...
