Olympic Lifting Workshop Series: Snatch 101

Hello Everyone,

Getting some things back on track for the gym and the community. We will be offering a 2 Hour workshop once a month for now on. The topics that the workshops will address will range from Olympic Lifting, running, nutrition, to whatever we feel the community is requesting.

To kick start our training workshops we will have a Snatch 101 session. It will be Monday August 2nd (5:00-7:00). A sign-up sheet will be posted in the training room. You can either sign up there or just email me to let me know you are good for the session. We need a head count to be sure we can accommodate everyone. Price is 20 dollars & free if you currently pay for a Beyul Training service (Personal Training, Class, etc.)

This workshop will deconstruct the Snatch to its basic elements. You will learn a general warm-up, personalized drills to address your weaknesses, and be given the opportunity to push near maximal loads with instruction.

It should be a great time, and I hope to see many of you there.

  • John Donne – Meditation 17

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...
