Workload:

Front Squat

3-3-3-1-1-1

Rest 5-10 Minutes then:

3 Rounds for time:

  • 20 Kettlebell Swings
  • 10 Walking Lunges w/kettlebell overhead (10 Each leg & arm)
  • 20 Push-ups

Notes: For the walking lunges snatch or clean and press the kettlebell to a full lockout.  Once you have the kettlebell secure perform 10 alternating walking lunges with the 1 arm.  Once you have done 10, switch arms and perform 10 more.

    Any poodage recommendations?

    • 1.5/1 for the standard. Use the same weight for the swings as you do the lunges. The swings will be easier in comparison but just focus on the snapping of the hip & not overextending (hip goes past your chest).

  5. (With “F U” by Ce Lo Green playing in the background) LT broke up with me this weekend. He did it by text message AFTER his new lifting partner texted me that HE would be joined by LT in a 8 week Olympic Lifting program. What made it more disconcerting is that LT asked me if I wanted to join in. Look, this is New Hope and I’m into some funky shit, but I draw the line at a threesome, especially with two Grizzlies. If LT wants to be used, abused and kicked to the curb after 8 weeks, then think he can come running back to me every weekday morning at 11am, then I have some news for him. he can. (Would have gotten that 300# Front Squat PR if you were with me.) I miss you already man. (sob) (sob) (sob)
