WHITEBOARD – 5 October 2012
Workload:
3 rounds of:
50m Sled Drag (225/150lbs)
400m Run
10 Sandbag clean to press (100/60)Immediately after completing perform:
25 Burpees
Notes: The total time for this workout is for both sections. The burpees end the workout. For the sled and the sandbag portion of the workout they are meant to be heavy, hence why there are only 3 rounds. Now, that doesn’t mean it should be heavy enough were you feel like you can’t complete the first round. You should be able to get the sled drag on 2 to max 3 efforts.
Post any questions, and goodluck – Really, I mean it this time.

Completed, although burpees done immediately after putting away sled and sandbag. Not a fast time
110# sled, 50# sandbag
Pulled Groin so I modified the training today.

It’s looking like 90 opener, 94 2nd attempt, 96 3rd.
I like it. 90 you hit in your sleep now. Sets you up for two cracks at competition PRs right?
91 is current comp PR. So depending on how next week goes it could also go 93, then 95. That would leave 130C+j for the 225 total. Also depends if there are any other lifters in striking distance I may be trying to out c+j for a bigger total.
You have never missed a jerk in competition right? If the clean feels crisp then I think you can use the adrenaline to fuel the lift.
Clean + jerk workout up to 130Kg pr clean with a missed jerk……what! Really wanted to make the lift in front of the special Olympic weightlifting team. The room was fired up!
Sounds like a good atmosphere to get you ready for the comp. Take it as a good sign you racked 130 and had a good shot at it.
