Max Clean: build  up to 1 rep max

 

Then:

 

5 Rounds of:

5 front squats (bar cleaned from floor)

10 Ring Dips

 

Notes: Use 80% of your max clean for the front squats.  Bar starts on the ground so you have to clean it.

    Saturday: made starting loosehead prop so I completed my goal. Goal has been updated to “maintain” starting position as starting prop for Doylestown Rugby. We also won 78-7 so great start to the season.

    In order to achieve that new goal based on my performance on Saturday, I need to boost metabolic conditioning…a lot. So, no outright strength work for me for a while. My strength was great. I just need to be able to breath and not overheat. So, bring on the running and biking.

    4 rounds of Shwabi drills. If you want an explanation, let me know. It’s ~6 minutes per round of hell.
