Workload:
Floor Press: Work up to a 3 rep max then 2 sets of 5 at 80%
Then:
6 Rounds of:
5 Ring Push-ups (Chest to floor)
4 Sternum Pull-ups
5 Toes-to-Bar (NO KIP)
Notes: Today is a strength day. For the second part of the workout it isn’t meant to be done to a clock. Perform each movement with control and with the delibrate purpose of getting better at the movement itself. Set up the rings 1-2 inches from the floor and perform the push-ups from full extension to the chest touching the ground.
Sternum Pull-ups are deadhang pull-ups, but you pull until you hit your sternum to the bar. At the finish of the pull you will be looking at the ceiling and will have a slight arch to the thoracic.
NO kipping for the toes to bar. If you have the ability go with straight legs through the whole range.
