WHITEBOARD – 2 August 2012

Workload:

Power Snatch: Work up to a heavy single, then perform 3 sets of (1 S. Pull+1 P. Snatch)x90% max single

Then:

5 Rounds of Chest-to-bar Cindy:
5 Kipping Chest-to-bar Pull-ups
10 Ring Push-ups
15 Wallballs (20/14)

Notes: I know the way the snatch portion of the workout is written it may look confusing.  Just work up to a Power Snatch Max.  Then, once a max is hit perform 3 sets of 3 repitions of the following complex: 1 Snatch Pull & 1 Power Snatch.  Within 1 set you don’t have to do all 3 repitions of the complex without releasing from the bar.  Think of one set as 3 singles with minimal amount of rest inbetween.

Post questions.

Think you will be in this good of shape when you get to his age?

  • John Donne – Meditation 17

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...
