WHITEBOARD – 29 May 2012
Workload:
Clean& Jerk
*Work up to a max C&J for the day. If you jerk becomes the limiting factor than switch to a clean only near maximal weights. Then:
On the minute for ten minutes perform:
2 Power Clean + 2 Rack to Overhead (75% max C&J hit)
Then:
1 Minute Hollow Rock
Notes: Hollow Rock again! Just seeing how it feels fresh compared to relatively fatigued last week. To reiterate, for the C&J if your jerk starts to become the part of the movement you are failing at, keep moving the weight up and hit a max CLEAN. If your jerk is considerably weaker than your clean, than maybe it is time to invest in some technique work for the jerk (Crazy, I know).
Also, this message is for a Mr. Glaesemann: If you exist, it would be nice to have evidence of that existence.
Hope everyone had a great Memorial day. That is all.
