WHITEBOARD – 9 April 2012

Workload:

Front Squat
*Build up to a heavy triple. Then perform 3 sets of 3 at 90% max weight hit.

Then:

5 Rounds of:
10 Reverse Lunges (Dumbbells heald to your side)
10 Back Extensions (Glute-Ham Developer)
10 Sit-ups (Think about glueing your belly button into the ground as you come up)

Notes: Again, just like any heavy day we have been having lately the max set should not be an absolute true max. You should be able to hit the 3 rep without fear of missing a rep. Hit this mobility WOD pre squatting. I would also recommend thoracic mobility work as well.

ALSO, I want 3 total sets of 90% or higher in the squat (excluding your one max set). So, if you hit a set prior to max set that is within 90% that counts for the day. Post any questions.

  • John Donne – Meditation 17

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...
