WHITEBOARD – 19 October 2011

Workload:

5 Rounds of:

200m Row
10 Kipping Pull-ups
5 Handstand Push-ups

Notes: Subbing the Push-ups?  Make sure whatever sub you go for you aren’t arching your low back like it is a twizzler.  If you want to learn to be strong, be strong in your movements.  Control a standard push-up before running over to an inverted push-up.  Take time to master your skills, and you will be rewarded.

Take a look at the Athlete of the Month Page/ to see the write-up for Kevin Olds (September Athlete of the Month).  It is some well deserved recongition.

…the pace of that one was the equivalent of a Mack truck running downhill with no brakes.

  • John Donne – Meditation 17

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...
