WHITEBOARD – 07 October 2011
Workload:
7 Rounds of:
2 Hang Snatches (80% 1 rep max)
50m Shuttle run (25 out, 25 back)
1 Snatch (80% 1 Rep Max)*Rest 2:00 Minutes inbetween rounds
Notes: The first two snatches are to be performed from the mid hang (mid-thigh to knee). The third snatch is to be performed from the floor. You can catch the snatch in a power or squat, just try to make the reps crisp.
If you fail more then 1 rep in a round, lower the load the next round. Straps are in the crosstraining room if grip is an issue.
SPRINT the sprint. Record times of each round and loads of the snatch. For those scoring the workout (::Cough:: Kemm & Kramli ::Cough::), minus total time of all rounds from total load lifted (successful lifts only).
Want an example of how fast you need to be under the bar. Take a look at Marcin Dolega’s training clip. He is the world record holder with a 201kg competition snatch in the 105kg weight class. You have that kind of skill and commitment?

scoring? I believe in golf this match is in the books at 4 and 2…
that guy takes longer than I do to pull
To be fair, he was amping himself up to pull over the world record.
Footwear. Hmm. Would be nice to wear the lifting shoes for the snatch. But sprinting? Obviously some choices will need to be made.

“I’d like a new trailer for me mah…”
I understood only the last word in every statement he said in that movie. Made absolutely no sense but loved it
Jason Strathan and Brad Pitt in one movie?
No need to understand what they say, just enjoy the view.

My legs are long gone…
Kramli, I found the clip of that video I was talking about. Now, ignore the beast doing the almost 700lb back squat… take a look at the sweet pair of socks in the background
