WHITEBOARD – 13 May 2011

Workload:

10 Rounds of:

  • 2 Shoulderings
  • 2 Loaded Squats
  • 2 Push Presses
  • 50m Sandbag Carry (25m out, 25m back)

*Rest 45s & repeat for 10 rounds.
**All movements done with sandbag (50% body weight)

Notes: Everyone, you can do this as a team workout. Ditch the rest and alternate rounds with your partner for 20 total rounds between both individuals.

Shouldering, is picking the sandbag from the floor and getting it fully loaded on 1 shoulder. For the 2 shoulderings, perform one on your right & left. The squats can be done anyway you want as long as the sandbag does not touch the ground.

Weight is not light!  It should be challenging and provide for a struggle.   I would suggest doing a couple of reps of each movement with the sandbag inside and moving the weight up until you find an appropriate weight.

If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...
