Workload:
On the minute perform the following:
- 2 Thrusters (95/65lbs)
- Escalating Burpees (Starts at 2, and goes up 2 every minute)
*Once you can not complete a round within the 1 minute, rest the next minute, and then you have to complete the ladder going back down to 2 & 2. Post best round completed, and any other failed round.
**Penalty for failing any round on the way back down is 10 burpees after the WOD is done
Notes: Ok, so the workout starts with 2 thrusters and 2 burpees the first minute. Once you complete those movements you get to rest the remainder of the minute. The next minute you perform 2 thrusters and 4 burpees, the 3rd minute 2 thrusters and 6 burpees, the 4th 2 thrusters and 8 burpees, and so on. Once you can not complete a round you rest the next minute. Then, you complete the ladder going back down starting at the round before you last successful round. So, if I successfully finished 10 burpees but failed at 12, I will rest the next minute and then do 2 thrusters and 8 burpees and keep going until I hit 2 thrusters and 2 burpees.

heavy squats + sprints = extreme soreness days 2 & 3.
Ditto on the soreness. Is it possible to do thrusters and burpees straight legged??

completed 16 burpee round, then I think I got 2 thrusters and 2 burpees when going for 18
missed 2 or 3 sets on the way down, but can’t remember which.. I think I got the 14, skipped 12, got 10, skipped 8.. then I dunno, maybe skipped 6, but then did 6 a minute later and then 4 2

No sprints for me this week but heavy squats + plyo lunges + walking lunges…Legs are a little toasty.

12 complete 65# made it back down the ladder. Burpees…I just love them…NOT

The way down was a spiral of fails probably 3.
kicked my butt.
1/2 mile warmup run
12 rounds complete 2 3 on the 14 round.
All descending ladders were done without failing so no penalties.
1/2 mile cool down run to finish.
