WHITEBOARD – 4 May 2012

Workload:

Mobility WOD of your choice

Then:

30-60 minutes of Gymnastic Skill work – Look at Beast Skills or Gymnastic WOD for examples

Notes: Today is not meant to be overally difficult. You need times in your training to dial down intensity and focus on skill. You can take today to work bar positioning in the olympic lifts, a different gymnastic movement, or stride work for running. Whatever you are working on today it should be focused around skill and practice.

Keep things fun, post up what one of your hobbies is (besides training of course).

    Not a boring day…

That was certainly an oh shit moment today. I hope he is doing well.

Saw Kevin’s first double muscle up! And he did not use his elbows.

Kemm did something bizarrly impressive with muscle ups.

Worked on the overhead squat with PVC and a bar. Found right hip tightness and stretched it for a while.

I stretched while watching Kevin do his first double muscle up and Kemm almost rip his wrists off.

Hobbies outside of the gym are rugby, reading, and watching movies on netflix with the wife.

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...
