WHITEBOARD – 22 June 2011
Workload:
2000m Row
Notes: You can not exceed 25 strokes per minute. Also, take this slow and use it as a recovery. You SHOULD NOT be hitting a PR or even close to it. Think 65% effort.
Swim WOD folks, it is at 7am at the Village 2. The WOD is below:
10 Minute Swim
*Everytime your body comes in contact with the ground of the pool or you support yourself on the side of the pool you must get out of the pool and perform 5 burpees.
**Post total laps & penalties during 10 minute duration

I’ll call it now.
Dara, 25 laps, no penalties
Dan, 5 laps, 5 penalties
This will be the highlight of my week
Pool has been open since memorial day…have been swimming since then…10:00 not an issue. I rule.
Too bad this is only for the morning. You all get past me with the weights and such, but I swim 3 days a week with up to 2 500’s a day. I would eat this like candy.
Kemm is going to kill us all.
17 laps, no penalties
That’s 17 lengths. 8½ laps.
lunch: 2K row, 20½ strokes/min, 8:50
25
Lost count during the drowning part. Was nice to see the ‘old gang’ again.
10 minutes, 10 laps, 10 burpees
sorry, 10 lengths
I lost count of the laps, but it was above 500m and below 625m.
No penalties.
I lost count too…but it was 10 min non stop
The lack of Kstar today has been noted.
120 laps. 1 lap = 1 stroke, 10 burpees. 1st penalty due to not be able to breathe. 2nd due to trying to drain the pool through my nose.
LOL – I also swam today. I did 9 laps in a 25m pool in 9:54 SIDESTROKE.
My freestyle is a lot faster.
BTW – Laps in swimming lingo are always two pool lengths. Out, and back. That’s one lap.
Dan, you probably just need some tweaks.
–Freddy
You clearly haven’t seen what Dan calls ‘swimming’
It would be great to give back to the people that have gone out of their way to help me learn all this.
–Freddy
I stayed dry. Rowed the boat for 2K.
