Between Open wod 11.6, last week’s lovely burpee/thruster ladder, and now today…I’ve come to the realization that I really do not enjoy thrusters…at all.

    135# as RXd 11:35
    10 – 4 – 4 – 3 – 3 – 4 – 2

I did something a little different today because overhead movements were not happening today.

    Squat Clean/Running ladder

    95# Bar

    2 Squat cleans
    200 m run
    4 Squat cleans
    200 m run
    6 Squat cleans
    200 m run
    8 Squat cleans
    200 m run
    10 Squat cleans
    200 m run

    Descend down the ladder.

    1 1/8 mile run + 50 Squat cleans = 19:19

Not pleasant but the neck and shoulder weren’t affected so that was the goal.

Descend back down the ladder, finishing with a 200 m run.

95# about 18:00. Was not focusing on time. Rested the bar after each thruster…mental note for next time: try to do more than one at a time. I think I wasted too much engery. But I did it 🙂

  • John Donne – Meditation 17

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...
