WHITEBOARD – 22 April 2011
Workload:
Pick any movement that is either one of your least favorite movements or just one you aren’t comfortable with. Take some time to play around with the movement and try to make it better!
Notes: Enjoy the weekend and get ready for another training cycle.
Question of the day, what is your favorite book of all time?

Whichever one that Kramli enjoys reading with his Chardonnay……. while gazing off thoughtfully into the distance.
Books are my thing (right after watching K-Star MWOD videos)
Rabbit, Run by John Updike
or
Tess of the D’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy
Tough to choose just one, though I’m going to go with The Goldbug Variations by Richard Powers.
Anything Gothic, particularly “Dracula.” Anything by Oscar Wilde, particularly “The Picture of Dorian Gray.”
Worked on running technique. Ran a mile focusing on striking mid foot, stride length and breath control. I realized quickly that if you focus on keeping the breathing in check, everything seems to fall in line.
Being and English Education major, I have way too many favorites to list. In terms of sheer number of times I’ve read a book, I would have to go with “The Hobbit.”
Some handstand work.
42 pullups
Since we all love the mobility wods we’ve been doing, and some of us have a crush on the guy (cough DARA cough) just wanted to post this up. It looks like Mr. Starrett will be holding a Crossfit Movement and Mobility cert in Philly at Crossfit 215. Could be a great oppurtunity to learn some tune up techniques.

5 rounds of 5 pullup, 10 pushup, 15 squat
It’s a good Friday!
good work
From Cheers episode 1. First scene with Diane and Norm.
Norm: “What you reading lady. Book?”
Chris Rock: “Books are kryptonite.”
Last book I read was…the last one they made me read in college.
The rest and skill week was nice. I was able to get my first and second muscle ups after a year long quest. One of my goals was accomplished.
