WHITEBOARD – 17 February 2011

Workload:

Snatch

  • 1 Rep Max
  • OR, if you are just learning check out the tutorials at California Strength & work form for 20 Minutes
  • Or, if you have the movement relatively down but still have a snatch under 3/4 bodyweight perform 1 snatch every minute for 15 minutes – build the weight up as you hit clean reps and back down after 2 fails at the same weight.

Rest 5-10 Minutes then:

For Time:

  • 2 Chin-ups (ALL DEADHANG)
  • 30 Push-ups (All STRICT)
  • 4 Chin-ups
  • 25 Push-ups
  • 6 Chin-ups
  • 20 Push-ups
  • 8 Chin-ups
  • 15 Push-ups
  • 10 Chin-ups
  • 10 Push-ups

Notes: Don’t think the snatch can build some serious athleticism, take a look at how fast this super-heavy weight moves under the bar:
