WHITEBOARD – December 27 2010
Workload:
Do something at a moderate pace (casual talking can occur at this intensity) for about 1 hour.
Then:
Mobility WOD of your choosing.
Notes: Can’t think of something to do? Shoveling your driveway, go sledding with the kids, walk on a treadmill, and etc. If you are shoveling make sure to fix your back and switch sides often.
For the mobility WOD please take a look at the website. A good starting point is to identify a movement that gives you trouble (squat, deadlifts, overhead pressing, clean high-pull, or ring dips). Try to figure out why the movement causes you trouble (poor hip flexion, tight hamstrings, no thoracic mobility, poor internal shoulder mobility). Then look for through the mobility WODs and really focus on making the movement better this week. For me, I am identify my tight hamstrings and my external hip flexors (Better deadlift form!).
Merry X-mas for those that celebrated it and enjoy any time off if you have it!
